Angella Lynsey Ford graduated from Brown University with a degree chemical engineering before admitting that acting was more fun. At Brown she appeared as the "Maroon Queen" in Their Hands are Sore From Praying and "Gladys" in the 2010 Brown production of The Cook. Lynsey enjoys frosting cupcakes and watching bad television, especially when done simultaneously.

Gentsch

Mark Gentsch
Character: Mr. Daldry

Mark returns for his sixth production at 2nd Story Theatre where he last performed as Mitch in "A Streetcar Named Desire". Recent RI roles have included Amasa Sprague in "The Murder Trial of John Gordon", Frederick in "A Little Night Music" and Howie in "Rabbit Hole". Mark has also performed in television, film, and radio. Early on, he worked in Minneapolis/Saint Paul at the CLIMB and Spirit of the Horse Theatres. Immediately before Gentsch moved to RI, he worked ten years in NYC where among many productions he, most notably appeared at the New York Theatre Workshop, opposite Betty Buckley.

Kneeland

Wayne Kneeland

Wayne Kneeland resides in Bristol, RI where he owns The Toy Shop, which just celebrated 15 years in business and recently received a "Best Toy Store - Best of Rhode Island award. Wayne would like to thank his 2 children, Kathleen and Tim, for being so supportive during rehearsals. Mr. Kneeland has recently been seen as Elwood P. Dowd in "Harvey," and as Buddy in "Kimberly Akimbo."

A 2nd Story actor since 1998, Rae thinks this may be her 26th 2nd Story production. Favorite 2nd Story roles include Stella in A Streetcar Named Desire, Lady Torrance in Orpheus Descending, Billie Dawn in Born Yesterday, Elmire in Tartuffe, and Hedda in Hedda Gabler; and singing with 2nd Story Theatre's Downstairs Cabaret. A Boston University grad, Rae studied, acted and sang in Boston and NYC before joining the 2nd Story family. She has also worked at Trinity Rep, Gamm, Theatre of Thought, Perishable, Brown and others, recently playing Martha in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, with The Willbury Group.

Morris

Aaron Morris

Aaron is happy to return to 2nd story Theatre after an extended absence. You may remember him from performances in Death of a Salesman, All My Sons, Of Mice and Men, and The Marriage of Bette and Boo. He is currently attending graduate school at Rhode Island College and builds custom furniture in his spare time. He is married to Rachel Morris and has two beautiful daughters Madeline and Abigail.

Erin Olson graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a BFA in Theatre in 2006. She has been in several productions at 2nd Story, most recently as Catherine in "The Foreigner" and Myrtle Mae in "Harvey."

Gabby is a utilizer of light, shade, sound, thought, motion, emotion, and - oh - vibration for the purpose of exchanging ideas with the beautiful entities with whom she has the honor of sharing this crazy world. Having collaborated as an actress/musician/composer with RI theatre companies 2nd Story, Ocean State Lyric Opera, NewStage, New Gate, Aurea Ensemble, and NYC companies Acorn Productions, The Artful Conspirators, Merrily Cubed, Adaptive Arts, and Boomerang, she is in love with every challenging and fulfilling breath of life she has had the honor of breathing into new and old writers' creations. Film appearances include projects The Education of Charlie Banks, The Truth about Lies, Normal Adolescent Behavior, and Scotch Hill. A blissful member of NYC bands Seemstress and The Morrow, she wishes now to know a little about the intriguing mystery that is You. She assumes you are awesome.

Gilbert

Vanessa Gilbert is a director based in Providence, RI whose focus is the development of new plays and performance works. Associated with Perishable Theatre since 1995, she has produced and directed scores of events there, including Perishable Theatre's International Women's Playwriting Festival and works by Mac Wellman, Carson Kreitzer, Erik Ehn, Quincy Long, John Belluso and Christine Evans. She is also the co-founder of Blood from a Turnip, RI's oldest late-night puppet salon. In 2006, Vanessa started the RAPT (Resident Artists at Perishable Theatre) Program to support mid-career performance artists local to RI. The program has since produced three world premiere hybrid theatre projects and incubates up to 10 projects per year. Current projects include new opera "The Legend of the Fairy Melusine" with composer Steven L. Jobe and acting as Producing Artistic Director for the Writing is Live! Festival of New Plays at Brown University.
