SUNDAY MORNING SCRIPT ANALYSIS Instructor Ed Shea March 2 – 16
Sunday morning, 10am – 1pm
Tuition: $100
In the beginning was the word, but since a picture‘s worth a thousand of ’em, picture this: Sunday morning… sunlight streaming in the windows… you and a group of fellow thespians discussing great works of theatre. By discussing and identifying the fundamentals of dialogue and plot construction, we will hone the tools necessary for specific acting choices. By examining the “trees” of previous action, given circumstances, dialogue, beats and tempo rhythms, we will gain a greater appreciation for and understanding of the “forest” of the playwrights’ intentions, themes and ideas.
